Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and University LaunchPad LLC governing your access to and use of University LaunchPad. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use University LaunchPad. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms for you. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
The service is educational
University LaunchPad provides organization, planning, and educational information. It does not provide medical, legal, financial, or professional admissions advice. Requirements and admissions practices can change, and you are responsible for confirming information with schools and other authoritative sources. We do not guarantee admission, academic results, employment, or any other outcome.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give University LaunchPad a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service. You are responsible for having the right to submit your content and for avoiding unnecessary sensitive or third-party confidential information.
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically at the billing interval and price shown at checkout until canceled. Stripe processes payments. You authorize recurring charges, plus applicable taxes, using your selected payment method. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the customer portal in your profile; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable. We will present material pricing or plan changes before they take effect as required by law.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, access another person’s account or data, probe or bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, interfere with operation, scrape or copy the service at scale, use it unlawfully, or infringe the rights of others. You may not resell access without written permission.
University LaunchPad materials
The service, software, design, branding, and materials we provide are owned by University LaunchPad LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose.
Third-party services
The service relies on third parties such as Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, and Resend and may link to outside resources. Their services and content are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
Availability and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, nonpayment, or a material violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, University LaunchPad LLC and its owners, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the service. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the claim or $100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised terms and update their effective date; material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
